We invite you to join our vibrant team at our crucial Novartis biotech drug substance manufacturing site. As part of our Manufacturing Science and Technology unit, you will collaborate with industry experts and play a significant role in the launch of new, ground-breaking products.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Authoring and reviewing validation and transfer protocols for Biotech Drug Substance processes.
  • Gathering pertinent data for manufacturing process parameters and analytical results.
  • Conducting data mining to evaluate e.g. potential performance variations across production lines.
  • Evaluating the performance trends of cleaning processes over time across different products.
  • Leveraging basic statistical analysis of to assess the capability and stability of the production process.
  • Cooperating closely with Transfer and Validation leads to support product launches and transfers.
  • Participating actively in team discussions, contributing solutions and ideas for operational excellence.

Essential Requirements:

  • Master in Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry or Pharmacy. 
  • Excellent English writing skills and active knowledge of German.
  • Basic understanding of mammalian biotech manufacturing processes.
  • At least one year of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a GMP environment.

This role is limited for 24 months.
